ABOUT CAPE TOWN RESORT
The Resort Collections feature designers showcasing collections that are transitional. South Africa, in general, does not have harsh Winters or unbearable Summers so it provides the perfect destination for fashionistas wanting to play. The Resort collections will feature collections ready for clients travelling.
It is perfect for locals that will be starting or planning their holidays in mid-year and idea for international clients who are at the start of their social season.
THE SHOW
The show will feature 12-15 key signature pieces from each designer that will run one after the other with the entire show not running longer then 1 hour and 15 minutes maximum. The show will feature the key Cape Town designers together with invited designers from other provinces.
The event will also act as an incubator for selected young talent and to foster commercial sensibility and creativity.
ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
The condition of showing for the designers is that merchandise must be immediately available for sale in store or through stockists. Expect pop-up stores at the event!
